LECTURE BY LAURA J. PADGETT

In this lecture Laura J. Padgett will speak about how she approaches her work and how she understands photography and its possible uses. She will concentrate on
three bodies of work: her photographs of Haus Zumthor for “Thinking Architecture”, her book “Space over Time” and her most recent photographic series “Regenerating Permanence”, thereby respecting the different conditions of beginning the work to its production to its outcome. She will consider how we speak about photography and the importance of turning our use of tectonic terminology to a poetics of meaning.
