NOTICE ON SALE OF THE GJF OBJECT

The Czech Architecture Foundation sells the GJF building to the Czech Technical University.

After a long discussion, on November 11, 2020, the Czech Architecture Foundation signed a purchase agreement with the Czech Technical University for the sale of the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery building on the Bethlehem Square in Prague. The traditional gallery of architecture will be preserved here even after the change of owner and will become part of the wider cultural and educational complex of the Czech Technical University. The foundation will raise funds for the intended construction of a new foundation house in Karlín and the establishment of the Gallery of Architecture and Design in rented premises on the Národní třída street. Through further targeted investments, the foundation also intends to strengthen its ongoing revenues, which are a source of financial support for projects of the foundation in the field of architecture promotion.
